In this course, you will learn how to make an illusion mesh dress with an open back dress and a deep V cup in the front. After completing this course, you will be able to make any style of dress with an open back and a V cut in the front!

The techniques are designed for dresses that are made using stretchable fabrics like a stretchable mesh, stretchable satin, or jersey fabric.

Also, this dress can be made with cups or without cups.

The front V cut can be any depth, even all the way down to the waistline. Or, if you do not like V cuts, the patterns and techniques can work without one.

For the skirt, you can make any style that you like. Long, short, mermaid, or a ballgown. The choice will be up to you.

In this course you will learn:

  • How to prepare a mannequin
  • What measurements are needed for this dress

Hello,

My name is Oksana Zaga. My passion for sewing started back in middle school. By the end of high school, I was sewing prom dresses for my classmates and myself. Later, I graduated University with a master degree in economics. I worked as an accountant for a long time, but sewing has always been a hobby that brought me joy.

In 2006, I came to United States and continued my passion of sewing and creating dresses. A few years ago, I decided to expand my knowledge of creating dresses by taking online couture classes in Europe.

Today, I am an expert in dressmaking and have developed my own techniques. I love what I do and every time I create a new dress, I do it with all my heart.
